ISSUES
Our nation is built on the promise of unlimited opportunity, a commitment to hard work, and the freedom to pursue our dreams. I fought to preserve these liberties as a United States Marine, and I will continue fighting for these principles as your State Senator in District 11. Our government must be accountable to the people, drafting policies that protect and support ALL Arizonans. Because from our smallest towns to our largest cities, everyone deserves a fair chance to succeed.

Veterans & Military Families
Our service members sacrifice so much to keep our country safe, so it’s our job to ensure they’re taken care of when they leave active duty. As a retired Marine, I know the challenges our Veterans face. Veterans often struggle to get jobs leaving them vulnerable to homelessness, mental health issues, and difficulty addressing their healthcare needs. We must ensure that our Veterans have what they need. This means ensuring that they can secure employment, access healthcare and mental health services, and support for their families.
They served, now it's time for us to serve them.
Health Care
Every Arizonan deserves high-quality, affordable health care. But many of us live in rural areas with a 30-mile drive to the nearest hospital. And without easy access to preventative care, rural Arizonans are more likely to suffer heart disease, diabetes, and other life-threatening conditions. That needs to change. We must attract and train the next generation of doctors, lower insurance premiums, and improve health facilities in rural areas.
Arizonans also deserve quality health care that includes maternity, newborn, and pediatric care, family planning services, contraception, and reproductive services. We must also ensure that we continue funding KidsCare, so that children who need access to quality healthcare have it.
The Environment
We are so fortunate to live in a state that offers both tremendous beauty and plentiful resources. But every day, we see greater abuse and neglect of our precious ecosystem. Arizonans also face a water-shortage crisis that will end in disaster if we don’t take immediate action. We’re the sunniest state in the country and an invest in a solar industry would provide clean energy and high-paying jobs. And with blazing wildfires and other pollution, many Arizonans don’t have access to clean air.
The State Legislature has a responsibility to play an active role in managing Arizona’s contribution to climate change. Climate change is real and is happening now. We need to do everything possible to mitigate the effects that we are already seeing and prevent things from getting worse.
Education
Serving as a school board member, I've seen how the lack of funding impacts our children's ability to succeed. Funding education should be a priority, as we know that a quality education is connected to a growing economy. Fully funding education means that we address all aspects of education, which includes paying our teachers a competitive wage and addressing the infrastructure issues that make our schools unsafe. It also means equipping our schools with tools and resources that will help our children succeed.
